Generalist HR Manager with over 10 years experience working in Industrial Relations,
Human Resources and Occupational Health & Safety. I have worked in both public and
private sectors including mining, oil & gas and transport / construction.
My key strength is maximising the potential of my team through building their capabilities

Notable Leadership Position
In February 2012 I was appointed as a Registered Manager for Christmas Creek Mine
Site and hence legally responsible for all 3,000 personnel on site. This position carried
the responsibility burden of acting as the General Manager on site and included acting
as a Major Incident Manager in the event of a major incident.
I personally managed one major incident and countless others during my employment
period with FMG, each time calling upon the expertise of our Emergency Services,
delegating and controlling events and evacuations under tense operating conditions.
Key Achievements
· Established an HR site department from start-up to a multi disciplinary service
comprising of 31 personnel, within 14 months. This consisted of generalist,

teams.
· Developed and managed a highly successful recruitment campaign for a
stockyard acquisition, recruiting 63 personnel within a one month period.
· Designed and delivered an HR Business Partner service to site department
management.
· Established an HR information systems database and achieved 95% increase in
site HR data, leading to vast increases in how management led and managed
their employees, including significant gains in training compliance, attendance and
performance management.

Yacht Racing Crew Member/Management Team - Team Garmin 70 foot Maxi Yacht
Primarily appointed as a bowman, helmsman and Assistant Watch Leader for the Team
Garmin 70 foot maxi racing yacht whilst racing over 25,000 nautical miles around the
world. On shore management appointments also consisted of Shore Manager,
Preparation Manager, Chief of Staff and Victualling Manager.
