    • COUNTRIES: One Acre Fund is based in rural East Africa  We currently serve farmers in Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, and Tanzania. Kenya Rwanda Burundi Tanzania
    • PROGRAM MODEL: Complete “market in a box” for rural smallholder farmers Producer Groups Seed and Fertilizer on Loan Training Storage and Market Access
    • PROGRAM MODEL: Delivery of “market in a box” to each farmer’s doorstep Rural Distribution Network At each pin, “market-in-a box” is delivered within 3 kilometers of every farmer enrolled in our program
    • DASHBOARD: One Acre Fund measures success across three metrics: Scale, Impact, & Sustainabiltiy Scale: Impact*: Sustainability**: Families Served Avg % gain in income % Field sustainability * Our farm families gain at least 100% in farm income per year, an average ** 74% of our field expenses are covered by revenues generated by our field program
    • Mary Louise. - Farmer in our Rwanda program since 2009. - Six children, disabled husband named Pascal. - Resettled from the DRC.
    • Small land. Like most Rwanda farmers, Mary Louise has an extremely small portion of land to plant: about 1/8 acre.
    • Yield. Mary Louise harvested enough food to feed her entire family in her first season with One Acre Fund…
    • Smiles. … Making her a very happy woman.
    • Eating more and better. Her children are now eating nutritiously and even have simple health insurance.
    • Investment. Mary Louise used her additional harvest income to invest in a dairy cow.
    • Investment. She also bought a small shop.
    • Farmer Pride. Mary Louise was selected to represent her district at a regional agriculture show.
