Because of this teamwork has become an important concept everywhere.” A team that plays together stays together

What it takes to build a powerfuland successful team… All teams need to have members who believe in their team goals and are motivated to work with others actively to accomplish tasks.  M embers need to feel “Collectively Accountable” for what they accomplish.   • 4. H P igh erformance Teams...1. Have Strong Core Values that help guide their attitudes.2. These Values are consistent with their Team Goals.”3. Turn a general sense of purpose into Specific Objectives.4. Share their Ideas and Their Creative Talents to Solve P roblems. A team that plays together stays together

Team Diversity - M it up! ixThere may be a few bumps at the start when people need to adjust to each other.Membership diversity offers a richer pool of information, talent and varied perspectives. This leads to better problem solving and increased creativity. A team that plays together stays together
  • 7. Wrapping it up…Listen to Ideas. Freely expressed ideas lead to more ideas, and so on.Ask questions and Interact. Discuss the objectives of the team openly and help each other.Share and Participate. Again, without it how can the team work together?Use effective communication.Carefully choose what works best at each stage. Example: Email - to make appointment, One-on-one - to discuss agenda, All meet - to discuss solutions. A team that plays together stays together
  • 8. Teamwork… It is amazing how much you can accomplish when it doesnt matter who gets the credit. A team that plays together stays together
