Then Mustafa’s brother Scar is introduced and talks about their lives, they have a disagreement and separate from each other.Meanwhile Rafiki calls upon the spirits to decide the name of the new born lion, the name Simba was given to him and then draws a picture of young Simba, thus making his uncle Scar the second in line to the throne. Scar plots with the hyenas to kill King Mufasa and Prince Simba, thus making himself King. The King is killed and Simba is led to believe by Scar that it was his fault, and so flees the kingdom in shame. After years of exile he is persuaded to return home to overthrow the usurper and claim the kingdom as his own thus completing the "Circle of Life".Key Characters:MufasaScarSimbaRafikiNalaZazuTimon and PumbaWhy you enjoyed it? /Why it appealed to you?I enjoyed the Lion King allot, the atmosphere was exhilarating and so lively. What attracted me the most was the different types of costumes used, through unique colours, shape and sizes, every costume suited the character through head wear mostly for example the big lion head is Mufasa, the normal lion head was Simba. What I also enjoyed was the dance choreography, the way the dancing was used in the whole stage everyone was moving around also what I was happy to see was how scenes, the choreography and music was in time. The singers were top notch, in that I mean they were brilliant what I realised was the way the person was singing again had to suit to the performers type of character. The different backgrounds where unique and so clear the backgrounds were in different sets. Also the colours of the backgrounds where rich and clear, not cheap which was good and helped the scene set.The dance and different costumes suited to me as they were unique and likes to be bold, just like me.What special effects were used? The lighting was good and the different backgrounds created a really good effect, similar to the different characters.By Michael McCauley
