    Mouth breaks down the food by chewing
    Salivary Glands releases saliva into your mouth
    After the food enters the ‘Esophagus’
  • 3. Esophagus
    A part of your windpipe, it receives the food from the mouth
    After the food enters the food
    Swallowing the food, then enters esophagus
  • 4. Liver
    A large organ above and in front of stomach
    It filters toxins from the blood
    Makes some blood proteins
  • 5. Stomach
    Muscular organ that is attached to the Esophagus
    Stomach breaks down the food
    Uses muscles to break down food
  • 6. Intestines
    Intestines that breaks down the food
    Removes nutrients from the food
    Nutrients are released into bloodstream
  • 7. Rectum
    Rectum hold the waste and gases or air
    Also the waste is held till it is released
    Feces enters the anus after
  • 8. Anus
    anus is where the waste is released
    Sphincter muscles help release the ‘feces’
    And other gases is released
