  2. 2. eGov Project Project mission To help the Government increase transparency and efficiency by using ICT 2
  3. 3. eGov Project Apply Online 89% of all applicants for jobs in the state sector are using the Apply - Online system With the second upgrade the application communication with the applicants is electronic only, by the request of the users. 3
  4. 4. eGov Project eTax Services Initially designed for the largest tax payers. 90% are already registered in the system and 70% of their monthly tax returns are submitted online
  5. 5. eGov Project Macedonia Surfing Road Show Introduced ICT For ALL In Skopje, quot;Dedoquot; Stavre held his first computer mouse, and spoke with his daughter in Australia via the Skype Voice over IP network. In Bitola several Roma children who had never before used a computer opened their first email accounts and sent e-mail to the President of the Republic of Macedonia. 5

  10. 10. eGov Project Distribution of Student Dormitories 7.500 applications were submitted on-line for two rounds of distributions of dormitories. Applying online was mandatory. 10
  11. 11. eGov Project Distribution of Student Benefits 3.770 applications received over the system for 3 separate invitations for scholarships. Additionally, 1.600 students applied on-line for student loans. 11
