MediaStudentsFeedbackI received adifferent perspectiveastheaudiencewasayoungergeneration and knew moreabout mediaconventionsandcodes.FEEDBACKON ROUGHCUTOFCIRQUE1.Ourpeers thought that ourestablishing shots weretoo light and un-threatening so they suggested thatwe grade the images so that they are darkerandbuild on the idea that the traileris fora horror.
2.They said they thought the clown (the killer)is introduced to early on in the trailerand theythink it would be betterif he was introducednearthe end to create shock, but ourbestvisual shots had the clown in and we reallylike using the spinning tunnel at the beginningas we find it quite chilling so we discussed it
3.They said that they liked how the fast shotswere edited but they think that we should usemore of a variation between slow and fast.Perhaps a slow cut of the hands round the doorin slow motion and then a quick shot of theclowns head close up, this would create buildingtension then shock.
4.They liked the titles that had beenused but they thought we shouldexplain more of the story with them, maybe use reviews as titles oranewspapercutting with something like“mysterious deaths at local circus”
