  7. 7. This tube system allows vascular plants to grow much larger.
  8. 8. Most plants we see are vascular plants. Animals have one system of tubes to carry nutrients to all the cells. This is called the circulatory system.

  10. 10. Xylem are the tubes that carry water up the stem from the roots to the leaves. Phloem carries food made in the leaves to all parts of the plant.
