Some things I found out about my culture… <ul><li>Hispanic origins: Latin America, Spain and Mexico </li></ul><ul><li>Hispanics account for 15% of US population- 4.5 million! </li></ul><ul><li>Very family-oriented and close-knit </li></ul><ul><li>Honor, good manner, and respect for elderly are of high importance </li></ul><ul><li>90% are Roman Catholic </li></ul><ul><li>Foods include a high number of: dry beans, vegetables, spices, and meats </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Some popular dishes: Menudo, Enchiladas, Burritos, Carne Guisada, Aroz Con Poyo </li></ul></ul>
