Megatrol: FloMeg Zero Pressure Fueling System - Presentation Transcript

    1. NON PRESSURE FUELING SYSTEM Safe, Effective, FAST Fueling Solutions
      • Save Thousands of Dollars
      • Reduce Lost Time
      • Improve Safety
Additional information is available for each slide. Please contact us www.megatrol.com
    2. Industry Standard Pressurized Fueling
      • Three components in this system
        • Fuel Nozzle
        • Fuel Receiver
        • Tank Vent
    3. Disadvantages to Pressurized Fueling
      • Faster filling increases pressure in the tank and can lead to tank bulging /splitting at seams
      • Possibility of overriding the system can lead to overfilling, tank bulging
      • Fuel can spill both onto the ground and/or cover the operator if receiver malfunctions
      • Contaminated fuel can lead to receiver malfunction and compromises operator safety
    4. Pressure Fueling Procedure While fueling, air escapes through the vent at the top of tank.
    5. Pressure Fueling Procedure Normal shutoff level is determined by vent. Manual Override is very easy.
    6. Pressure Fueling Procedure Operator override or shutoff failure results in: BULGED TANK SPLIT SEAMS FUEL SPILL
    7. The FloMeg Solution
      • To respond to increasing demand, FloMeg created a system to answer these issues:
      • 1 st - Eliminate pressurizing the tank
      • 2 nd - Eliminate overfilling the tank
      • 3 rd - Environmental protection
    8. Intro to the FloMeg System
      • The fundamental parts of the non-pressurized system are: Float, Valve and Pilot line. These are used in conjunction with a nozzle and receiver.
    9. FloMeg Float
      • Controls tank levels and fuel shutoff
      • The Splash Guard float (left) incorporates splash protection
      • The standard float (right) allows for a breather assembly.
    10. FloMeg Float Operation
      • The float replaces the vent on top of the tank
      • Fuel level is controlled by float shutoff point
      • System pressure occurs between the float and the valve, not in the tank.
    11. FloMeg Valve
      • The Valve is installed behind the standard fuel receiver.
      • Valve design allows for direct flow into the tank, minimizing foaming.
    12. FloMeg Pilot Line
      • The pilot line is the communication link between the float and valve.
      • External mounting simplifies both installation and troubleshooting.
    13. How Fueling Works with FloMeg During Fueling Pilot line remains open, allowing the tank to receive fuel.
    14. How Fueling Works with FloMeg Fueling Complete! Operator cannot override preset tank level.
    15. FloMeg can be adapted for use on any piece of equipment in the world
    16. Installation with FloMeg Service Kit Everything you need to install the FloMeg system Vacuum Pump – Install FloMeg System without emptying the fuel tank. Sockets and wrenches to remove existing fuel system.
    17. Installation with FloMeg Service Kit The Vacuum Pump: the key to installation without removing the fuel from the tank.
