  • 12. “A mother told me that she rarely takes her child out in public because of the stares, yet there was her child standing right next to her.  How wonderful for them to feel able to enjoy being together and not worrying about what others think?   I believe last year's walk was important in showing families dealing with autism that they are not alone and raising the awareness for autism in our communities.”
