EBSCO is the world’s largest intermediary between libraries and publishers and is a trusted friend to most academic publishers EBSCO is the only aggregator who shares the same core business as publishers (print and e-journal subscriptions) – this makes publishers feel more at ease in licensing their content Other aggregators have no financial penalty when customers cancel journal subscriptions as a result of full text database access. This is a major concern for publishers.
