• In this tutorial, you’ll be exploring the concept
of the Point-Slope Form. The steps in the
tutorial include:
– Creating a Graph Window.
– Adding a point.
– Creating a Slider.
– Linking a function in Point-Slope form to the point
and Slider.
3. Create a Graph Window
Click on the +tool to activate this menu.
4. Deactivate the Keyboard
By default the keyboard is active. Click on the
Keyboard button to deactivate it.
5. Select the Geometry Tools
Click Menu. Then select Geometry > Points &
Lines > Point.
6. Place One Point Onscreen
Click anywhere onscreen to place the point.
7. Display the Coordinates
Press once on the point. Then press again to bring up the
Coordinate option. Select it to display the coordinates.
9. Link the Coordinates
Link the coordinates to variables x1 and y1, which will
be used in the Point-Slope Form. Click twice on the x-
coordinate to bring up the Store option.
22. Move the Point
You can also relocate the point to a different part of
the screen, but the linked function will ensure it
intersects the point at its new location.
