      • Activities articulated and approved by council
      • CSO medicines price survey,NDA database development and MoH procurement plan ongoing despite delay in starting, CSO’s capacity building workshop
      • Multi-stakeholder approach to NPSSP, rotating chairs (new leadership style in health)
      • Regular review meetings in place to monitor progress of work plan implementation

    • 3. Challenges
      • Difficulty in scheduling council meetings so that decisions are made in timely manner
      • Work plan activities are behind schedule due to delay in take off
      • Insufficient visibility for MeTA in health sector circles and media as there are no results to change the landscape yet
      • Dissemination of available information from stake-holders is still not effective

    • 4. Country Priorities in the work plan
      • Progressive Data Disclosure/information sharing
      • Quarterly dissemination of medicines availability and price monitoring surveys
      • Ease access to National Drug Authority (NDA) information by stakeholders
      • Increase public awareness of rational drug use
      • Promote transparency in planning, provision and accountability of medicines by the MoH
      • Improve working of the multi-stakeholder process

    • 5. Milestones in the workplan implementation
      • Multi-stakeholder process is working
      • Data disclosure: the tool provided a forum for discussion on policy and practice and the gaps therein
      • Activities are on-going as per workplan and effects are already being felt e.g. MOH data collected into central repository on procurement of medicines
      • Establishment of a functional secretariat which oversees activities
