Situation analysis: successes and challenges in implementing workplan
Multi-stakeholder process
Success: Stakeholders believe in the process
Challenge: Obtaining agreement on common objectives
CSOs
Challenge: There are other organizations which would have liked to participate more directly in the conception of the workplan.
Success: Increased inclusion and participation from CSOs and other stakeholders of the development of the workplan.
Success: CSOs are developing their own workplan and applying for separate funds.

Hiring a technical secretary has helped to democratize the process and ensure inclusion of all sectors in the evolution of the workplan.
A continuing challenge has been finding agreement on how to proceed with the price observatory.

Priorities:
Transparency and information on prices (Expected product: Price Observatory)
Transparency and strengthening of the medicines supply chain in the public sector (Expected product: Logistical Operator)
Civil society vigilance on the acquisition and availability of medicines in the public sector (Expected product: diagnostic and recommendations)
Generics (Expected product: national generics policy)

Transparency in information about medicines (Expected products: information is available for users)
Milestones
Working together in a democratic fashion
Price Observatory
Draft proposal for legislation that would make this Observatory a reality and contribute to the transparency of prices (what remains is for the legislation to be prepared so that the Observatory is officially recognized and thus give it life and real regulatory power)
The creation of an independent space for OSC
