As a company we decided to name ourselves ‘Echo’
as we (Myself, Jordan and William) felt that it was
innovative and creative. It represents how our
designs and ideas always come back; a metaphor for
the fact that our work is always there, it isn’t easily
forgotten and will always be top of whatever market
it is in.
Our slogan is ‘Effort… Time… Perfection…’ This is
because we as a company know our products and
ideas are thought of through a lot of time with our
full potential and effort. We do not stop until we
reach perfection and this is why this slogan is perfect
for us.
As a group we have decided to go with the sugar
free gum and a darker looking packaging. The
three of us came up with our individual ideas
designs and names for our product and a slogan.
This information can be found separately on my
Blogger.
My individual ideas:
Name: ‘Power Gum’
Slogan: ‘Quality, Effort, Perfection’
Look: Red, Blue and White – White and Black
 Name: 5 Gum
 Its slogan: "Stimulate your senses.“
 History: 5 gum was introduced to United States markets in March
2007, in Canada in January 2008, in Russia, Europe and Australia
in 2009, in China, India, Italy, Israel, Thailand, and Malaysia in
2010.

 Advertising techniques: Campaigns, TV adverts, Posters,
Banners, Websites.
 Logo:
 Their product and adverts are aimed at
younger adults and teenagers. This is because
gum is mainly bought by people in that age
group as they are either in education and
starting work. Therefore their slogan ‘Stimulate
your senses’ will appeal to this age group as
they need to focus with exams and starting a
new job, etc.
Their image.
 Their image is based upon their creative and
interesting flavours. All of their adverts are based on
how the flavour of their gum will ‘stimulate your
senses’ this is the main way they try and make their
gum different to others, through the fact their gum has
a lot more flavour than any other.
Are their adverts serious/ funny/ cool?
 Their adverts are very serious however they are
fictional and normally animated. They aim to show the
audience of their advert that ‘5 Gum’ gives a burst of
flavour that no other gum does. They use vibrant
bright colours in their adverts and usually in their TV
adverts they will use creative innovative ideas such as
a wave of vibrant colour to represent the colour the
consumer will be tasting. This catches your attention as
it’s unrealistic but interesting, it makes you curious and
eager to try their gum.
Who is their product aimed at?
 Their product are aimed at anyone above the age of 12. This is
because any one younger than this, it could cause a safety hazard
towards as they could choke. Their target audience are teenagers
and young adults as their bright colours and advert designs
appeal more to the younger generation and will be more
intriguing to the younger people.
