    • What are Some Uses of Hashtags?
      • Establish one with your call name
      • Reference artists by hashtags when interviewing so that search reveals them on your stations
      • Create themes, e.g. #MusicWednesdays

    • What is a Tweet Chat?
      • A tweetchat is simply an organized group chat that takes place using the Twitter platform.’
      • Participants use an assigned hashtag (say, #sbbuzz) for their tweets during the discussion
    • What are Some Ways to Use Tweet Chats?
      • Select a topic for people to talk about, e.g. American Idol or the Olympics.
      • Invite audience to participate in a live chat via twitter moderated by a station producer while the DJ discusses the chat stream on the air.
      • Create a transcript of the tweet chat and post to your site

      • Encourage fans to contribute to the site
