How to do it yourself
• Step 1: Run cool, running water on burn for 10-15
minutes.
• Press a wrapped up ice pack to burn, don’t press pack
alone directly on the burn.
• Get and take a pain killer.
• Rinse burn with salt solution (salt and warm water) once
an hour.
• Rest wet, black tea bags on burn.
• Purpose: The tannic acid in tea absorbs heat from burn.
• Rub a thin layer of Aloe Vera onto Burn.
• Mix Vinegar with Water and apply to burn once an hour.
• Why Vinegar? Vinegar has disinfectant traits.
• Place Milk on burn for 15 min.
• Wash with water so the milk doesn’t spoil on your burn.
• Rub honey on the burn.
• Purpose: Kills bacteria and absorbs moisture from skin.
Why? This soothes the burn.
