Type 1 conditional sentences are used to talk about real or probable situations in the present or future. They use "if" followed by the present simple tense in the if-clause and will/won't + infinitive in the main clause. Examples are "If you leave home early, you will be on time" and "If it is delicious, I will eat it all." Type 1 conditionals can also use present continuous, present perfect, modal verbs, offers/suggestions, warnings, and threats. The if-clause and main clause can be reversed order as well such as "If you come with me, I'll pick you up."

2. Use when to show you are sure something will happen. I 'll call you when the meeting finishes Use if to show you are not sure something will happen or not I 'll call you if the meeting finishes early

3. You can use will in the if clause if it is a request : If y ou'll j ust wait a moment, I'll find someone to help you. You can use present continuous or present perfect. If you are working hard, you will finish on time. If you have saved enough money, you will be able to buy it.

4. You can use modal verbs in the main clause If she feels sick, she should see a doctor If she knows the topic well, she can talk first. It can go either way If you come with me, I'll pick you up/ I'll pick you up if you come with me.

5. Use it for offers and suggestions If you need help, you can call me If you are down, you should go out and have an ice-cream. warnings and threats If you do not bring your Id card , you can not come in. If you make a move, I 'll shot.
