  • MartinHatchuel1 Martin Hatchuel, Writer and tourism consultant at BarefootClients @hbaezandino Thanks for your kind words, Hiram - responsible tourism is indeed something tourists need to learn. But I'm asking myself - can responsible tourism and luxury tourism work together? It seems that the more expensive the trip, the less likely it will take care of the hosts and the host environment. Or am I just being cynical?

Saludos, HIRAM BÁEZ-ANDINO, San Juan, Puerto Rico 6 months ago

  • tomtomsa tomtomsa thanks Martin - Ja that is essentially where we're all at - we're to really sure what we're doing but we're trying to do it, and believe we're doing it for the right reasons too....... Importantly though we've also got to make sure our small businesses survive in order for the communities to receive sustainable benefit! 1 year ago
