HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE NETHERLANDS  13 research universities, three of which Universities of Technology (Delft, Eindhoven, Twente)  Binary system with research universities and universities of applied sciences (e.g. Stenden)  Research universities are mainly responsible for offering researchoriented programmes in an academic setting.  Universities of applied sciences offer programmes that focus on the practical application of arts and sciences. These tend to be more practice oriented than programmes offered by research universities and they prepare students for specific professions.

A relevant Bachelor’s degree, minimum 70-75% year: Sarjana Insinyr or Sarjana Strata degree with a final cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 7.0/10.0 or 2.7/4.0 2. Sufficient mastery of English  Academic IELTS, overall band score of at least 6.5 (no subscores)  TOEFL, internet based (TOEFL-iBT) of at least 90 Test your eligibility yourself!
