Chernobyl <ul><li>The Chernobyl accident in 1986 was the result of a flawed reactor design that was operated with inadequately trained personnel and without proper regard for safety. </li></ul><ul><li>28 people died within four months from radiation or thermal burns, 19 have subsequently died, and there have been around nine deaths from thyroid cancer apparently due to the accident: total 56 fatalities as of 2004. </li></ul><ul><li>An authoritative UN report in 2000 concluded that there is no scientific evidence of any significant radiation-related health effects to most people exposed. This was confirmed in a very thorough 2005 study. </li></ul>

Twin tower <ul><li>On February 26 , 1993 at 12:17 PM, a Ryder truck filled with 1,500 pounds (680 kg) of explosives was planted by Ramzi Yousef and detonated in the underground garage of the North Tower, opening a 100 foot (30 m) hole through 5 sublevels of concrete leaving 50,000 workers and visitors gasping </li></ul>

She left southamton for New York on April 14th, 1912 stuck an iceberg just before midnight and sank. </li></ul><ul><li>Of the more than 2,220 people on board, 1513 drowned in the cold waters of the atlantic ocean. </li></ul>
