support of the hospital’s mission. The volunteer program focuses on
enhancing patient service in the psychosocial, developmental and
emotional areas.

Individuals as young as 16 years of age may apply to become a volunteer
if they have experience working with children (whether paid or not), as well
as good mental and physical health. They must also make a minimum
commitment of 12 months. The hospital conducts reference and criminal
checks and provides orientation and training.
