  • 2. Introduction
Could you image going to work everyday and just sitting in an office or doing paper work all day and not working with people and being alone all day? If you are like me you would hate that. This is why I would like to be a Substance abuse and behavioral disorder counselor. I became interested with this career last year when I had a high school 101 class and we where talking about how many people struggle with addictions and food disorders and the people in their life don’t really care which is one of the main reason they are in the condition that they are in. Also, because I have had people in my family struggle with addiction and its sad to watch their life fall apart. I will be researching the job conditions, money, the training that you need and more. Who knows, maybe after this presentation you will consider being and Substance abuse and behavioral disorder counselor.

  • 35. Summary
Now that I have done the research on being Substance abuse and behavioral disorder counselor I now know that this is definitely what I want to become. I look forward to helping people and even saving some peoples life’s. I lease look forward to the patients that unfortunately don’t get help and continue with the bad habits they started with. The learning experience over all would be good because it is teaching you how to be helpful, caring, understanding and I think a lot more people would rather be around a nice person who you can trust than someone you can’t trust and is mean. Now the answer is up to you. Could you handle being a Substance abuse and behavioral disorder counselor?
