DREAMS INTHE BIBLEGod certainly communicates to Hispeople through dreams.We will study some of thecharacteristics of those dreams.The Holy Bible is full of them, bothin the Old Testament and in theNew Testament.

Works in our dreams.Genesis 2:21 (NKJV)21 And the LORD God caused adeep sleep to fall on Adam, andhe slept; and He took one ofhis ribs, and closed up the fleshin its place.
Gen 15:12-13 (NKJV) 12 Now when the sun was going down, adeep sleep fell upon Abram; and behold,horror and great darkness fell upon him.13 Then He said to Abram: “Knowcertainly that your descendants will bestrangers in a land that is not theirs,and will serve them, and they will afflictthem four hundred years.Put impressions in ourdreams.
He reveals Himself in ourdreams. Gen 28:13 (NKJV) 13 And behold, the LORD stood aboveit and said: “I am the LORD God ofAbraham your father and the God ofIsaac; the land on which you lie I willgive to you and your descendants.

Gen 37: 5-7 (NKJV) 5 Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it tohis brothers; and they hated him even more. 6So he said to them, “Please hear this dreamwhich I have dreamed: 7 There we were,binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, mysheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeedyour sheaves stood all around and boweddown to my sheaf.”
Reveals far away futureplans. Gen 37:9 (NKJV) 9 Then he dreamed still anotherdream and told it to his brothers, andsaid, “Look, I have dreamed anotherdream. And this time, the sun, themoon, and the eleven stars boweddown to me.”

Individual Messages. Gen 40:5 (NKJV) 5 Then the butler and the baker of theking of Egypt, who were confined inthe prison, had a dream, both ofthem, each man’s dream in one nightand each man’s dream with its owninterpretation.
