WARNING TO KING ABIMELECH Genesis 20:3 NKJV) 3 But God came to Abimelech in a dream bynight, and said to him, “Indeed you are adead man because of the woman whom youhave taken, for she is a man‟s wife.”
GENESIS 31:10-12 (NKJV) 10 “And it happened, at the time when the flocksconceived, that I lifted my eyes and saw in adream, and behold, the rams which leaped uponthe flocks were streaked, speckled, and gray-spotted. 11 Then the Angel of God spoke to mein a dream, saying, „Jacob.‟ And I said, „Here Iam.‟ 12 And He said, „Lift your eyes now andsee, all the rams which leap on theflocks are streaked, speckled, and gray-spotted;for I have seen all that Laban is doing to you.
ORDER GIVEN TO JACOB Genesis 31:13 New King James Version (NKJV) 13 I am the God of Bethel, where youanointed the pillar and where you made avow to Me. Now arise, get out of thisland, and return to the land of your family.‟”
GENESIS 37:6-8 (NKJV) 6 So he said to them, “Please hear this dreamwhich I have dreamed: 7 There we were, bindingsheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheafarose and also stood upright; and indeed yoursheaves stood all around and bowed down tomy sheaf.” 8 And his brothers said to him, “Shall you indeedreign over us? Or shall you indeed havedominion over us?” So they hated him evenmore for his dreams and for his words.
GENESIS 37:9-10 (NKJV) 9 Then he dreamed still another dream and toldit to his brothers, and said, “Look, I havedreamed another dream. And this time, thesun, the moon, and the eleven stars boweddown to me.” 10 So he told it to his father and his brothers; andhis father rebuked him and said tohim, “What is this dream that you havedreamed? Shall your mother and I and yourbrothers indeed come to bow down to the earthbefore you?”
INTERPRETATION BELONG TO GOD Genesis 40:8 (NKJV) 8 And they said to him, “We each have had adream, and there is no interpreter of it.” So Joseph said to them, “Do notinterpretations belong to God? Tell them tome, please.”
GENESIS 40:9-13 (NKJV)9 Then the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and saidto him, “Behold, in my dream a vine was beforeme,10 and in the vine were three branches; it was asthough it budded, its blossoms shot forth, and itsclusters brought forth ripe grapes. 11 Then Pharaoh‟scup was in my hand; and I took the grapes and pressedthem into Pharaoh‟s cup, and placed the cup inPharaoh‟s hand.” 12 And Joseph said to him, “This is theinterpretation of it: The three branches are threedays. 13 Now within three days Pharaoh will lift up yourhead and restore you to your place, and you will putPharaoh‟s cup in his hand according to the formermanner, when you were his butler.
GENESIS 40:16-19 (NKJV) 16 When the chief baker saw that theinterpretation was good, he said to Joseph, “Ialso was in my dream, and there were threewhite baskets on my head. 17 In the uppermostbasket were all kinds of baked goods forPharaoh, and the birds ate them out of thebasket on my head.” 18 So Joseph answeredand said, “This is the interpretation of it: Thethree baskets are three days. 19 Within threedays Pharaoh will lift off your head from you andhang you on a tree; and the birds will eat yourflesh from you.”
PHARAOH’S DREAMS OF THE COWSAND THE GRAIN HEADS
GENESIS 41:1-4 (NIV) PHARAOH’S DREAMS 41 When two full years had passed, Pharaohhad a dream: He was standing by theNile, 2 when out of the river there came upseven cows, sleek and fat, and they grazedamong the reeds. 3 After them, seven othercows, ugly and gaunt, came up out of theNile and stood beside those on theriverbank. 4 And the cows that were ugly andgaunt ate up the seven sleek, fat cows. ThenPharaoh woke up.
DANIEL 2:27-30 (NKJV) 27 Daniel answered in the presence of theking, and said, “The secret which the kinghas demanded, the wise men, theastrologers, the magicians, and thesoothsayers cannot declare to the king. 28 Butthere is a God in heaven who revealssecrets, and He has made known to KingNebuchadnezzar what will be in the latterdays. Your dream, and the visions of yourhead upon your bed, were these:
DANIEL 2:31-35 (NKJV) 31 “You, O king, were watching; and behold, agreat image! This great image, whosesplendor was excellent, stood before you;and its form was awesome. 32 This image‟shead was of fine gold, its chest and arms ofsilver, its belly and thighs of bronze, 33 its legsof iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay.
DANIEL 2:34-35 (NKJV) 34 You watched while a stone was cut outwithout hands, which struck the image on itsfeet of iron and clay, and broke them inpieces. 35 Then the iron, the clay, thebronze, the silver, and the gold were crushedtogether, and became like chaff from thesummer threshing floors; the wind carriedthem away so that no trace of them wasfound. And the stone that struck the imagebecame a great mountain and filled thewhole earth.
