    X-Games X-Games Presentation Transcript

    • X-Games The X-Games is an annual sports competition, controlled by the ESPN(Entertainment and Sports Programming Network), based on extreme action sports. You can find different X-Games: – X-Games – Winter X-Games – Asia X-Games – Continent results
    • X-Games It had started in 1995 in Rhode Island, and it is more popular every year. We can find in it this extreme sports: – BMX – Skate – Moto X and Moto X Freestyle – Rally and Car Racing X-Games
    • BMX BMX is the name of a bicycle designed mainly for dirt and motocross cycling. This year Garrett Reynolds, Jamie Bestwick and Scotty Cranmer became the winners of BMX in the X-Games 16. X-Games
    • Skate Skate is the act of riding and do tricks using a skateboard table. It became a sport in the 40s in California. This year Pierre-Luc Gagnon won and Ryan Sheckler won the street modality. X-Games
    • Moto X • Moto X: is a motorcycle sport racing on enclosed off road circuits. • Moto X Freestyle: concentrates on performing acrobatic tricks jumping with motocross. This year Travis Pastrana and Cam Sinclair won the gold with two X-Games double backflips. And Matt Buyten won the Step Up competition.
    • Rally and Car Racing Rally is a form of racing on public or private roads with modified or specially built cars. This year Travis Pastrana won the Rally. X-Games
    • Winter X-Games Is the competition based on winter extreme games: – Snowboard – Skiing – Super pipe – Snowcross X-Games
    • Snowboard Snowboarding is a sport that involves descending a slope covered with snow on a snowboard table. Winter X-Games
    • Skiing This kind of skiing employs the use of aerial acrobatics and balance on rails. Winter X-Games
    • Super pipe A super pipe is a large half pipe structure used in extreme sports such as snowboarding and freestyle skiing. Winter X-Games
    • Snowcross Snowcross is a racing sport involving racing with snowmobiles doing turns, banking corners, steeping jumps and obstacles. Winter X-Games
    • Asian X-Games Consist in the same extreme sports of the X-Games but in the Asian countries. X-Games
