You may want to take this quiz: NAO – Ontario Investment Ready Quiz • Documents required for IRC • Executive summary • Pitch deck • Other relevant info Entrepreneurs first introduce themselves and their venture to Maple Leaf Angels.

Initial Application MLA Staff Review Investment Review Committee Present to MLA Deal Room Due Diligence www.mapleleafangels.com | info@mapleleafangels.com | 416.646.6235 | @mapleleafangels MLA STAFF REVIEW • Ventures that meet criteria are further screened in one on one meeting • Following screening selected companies are granted IRC review • Ventures that do not meet criteria notified • Developing ventures recommended to mentorship session and/or workshops Timeline: 30 days MLA Staff reviews venture applications for appropriate fit with MLA and to determine if ventures should proceed to IRC review.

Initial Application MLA Staff Review Investment Review Committee Present to MLA Deal Room Due Diligence www.mapleleafangels.com | info@mapleleafangels.com | 416.646.6235 | @mapleleafangels INVESTMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE 5 The IRC Meets on a monthly basis to review applications and/or view pitches. At a pitch session the IRC will see between 4 - 8 companies out of which 2 – 3 companies will be selected to present to all members at the next investment meeting. Timeline: 30 - 120 days* *The range is due to the MLA Investment Meeting Schedule – occasionally MLA has targeted sessions which not all qualified ventures will fit into Ventures must pass the IRC formal review will be asked to do a pitch to the IRC.

Initial Application MLA Staff Review Investment Review Committee Present to MLA Deal Room Due Diligence www.mapleleafangels.com | info@mapleleafangels.com | 416.646.6235 | @mapleleafangels PRESENT TO MLA • Ventures who pitch to IRC but are not selected to pitch to members will receive follow up. • Ventures who are selected to pitch to the membership at large will receive follow up coaching. Timeline: 30 days Those 2-3 successful ventures from the IRC Pitch Session will then pitch to all MLA Members
