  • Objective of I.S.R.O The Indian Space Research Organisation is the primary spaceagency of the Indian government. ISRO is amongst the six largestgovernment space agencies in the world, along with USAsNASA, Russias RKA, Europes ESA, Chinas CNSA and Japans JAXA. Itsprimary objective is to advance space technology and use itsapplications for national benefit. The main motto of indian space research organisation is Spacetechnology in the service of human kind. Indias economic progress has made its space program more visible andactive as the country aims for greater self-reliance in space technology.

He was born in Kerala, India).Radhakrishnan took charge as the Chairman of theIndian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on 31October 2009. He succeeds Dr. G. Madhavan Nair whoretired at the end of October, 2009
