Misuse of His Name Fail to Keep Promises Deuteronomy 23:21-23 21 “When you make a vow to the LORD your God, you shall not delay to pay it; for the LORD your God will surely require it of you, and it would be sin to you. 22 But if you abstain from vowing, it shall not be sin to you. 23 That which has gone from your lips you shall keep and perform, for you voluntarily vowed to the LORD your God what you have promised with your mouth.

Proper Use Profession We must acknowledge Him, claim Him Romans 10:9 - that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Conclusion We must reverence and respect the name of God We must show reverence for all that is holy and sacred We must not abuse God’s name. It is a stupid thing to treat the name of God carelessly.
