  • 2. John 4:23-2423 But the hour is coming, and now is,when the true worshipers will worshipthe Father in spirit and truth; for theFather is seeking such to worship Him.24 God is Spirit, and those whoworship Him must worship in spirit andtruth."

DESIRE to know truthRomans 10:1-3 1 Brethren, my heartsdesire and prayer to God for Israel is thatthey may be saved. 2 For I bear themwitness that they have a zeal for God, butnot according to knowledge. 3 For theybeing ignorant of Gods righteousness,and seeking to establish their ownrighteousness, have not submitted to therighteousness of God.It takes more than zeal.

DESIRE to know truthSalvation requires a love of the truth2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 9 The coming of thelawless one is according to the working ofSatan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,10 and with all unrighteous deception amongthose who perish, because they did notreceive the love of the truth, that they mightbe saved. 11 And for this reason God will sendthem strong delusion, that they should believethe lie, 12 that they all may be condemned whodid not believe the truth but had pleasure inunrighteousness.

DESIRE to know truthTransformation requires a large dose of truthJohn 8:32 And you shall know the truth, and thetruth shall make you free."John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, thetruth, and the life. No one comes to the Fatherexcept through Me.1 Timothy 2:3-4 3 For this is good andacceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4who desires all men to be saved and to come tothe knowledge of the truth.

READY to be transformedRomans 12:2-3 2 And do not be conformed tothis world, but be transformed by the renewingof your mind, that you may prove what is thatgood and acceptable and perfect will of God. 3For I say, through the grace given to me, toeveryone who is among you, not to think ofhimself more highly than he ought to think, butto think soberly, as God has dealt to each one ameasure of faith.We must change as we grow
  • 7. READY to be transformed1 Peter 2:1-2 1 Therefore, laying asideall malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy,and all evil speaking, 2 as newbornbabes, desire the pure milk of theword, that you may grow thereby,

SEEK fellowship with family of GodFellowship with God, Christ and one another1 John 1:3-5 3 that which we have seen andheard we declare to you, that you also mayhave fellowship with us; and truly our fellowshipis with the Father and with His Son JesusChrist. 4 And these things we write to you thatyour joy may be full. 5 This is the messagewhich we have heard from Him and declare toyou, that God is light and in Him is no darknessat all.

SEEK fellowship with family of GodFellowship with God, Christ and one another1 John 1:6-7 6 If we say that we have fellowshipwith Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and donot practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in thelight as He is in the light, we have fellowshipwith one another, and the blood of Jesus ChristHis Son cleanses us from all sin.Look forward to seeing one another2 Corinthians 13:12 Greet one another with aholy kiss.

GIVE our bestLearn from the churches of Macedonia2 Corinthians 8:3-5 3 For I bear witness thataccording to their ability, yes, and beyond theirability, they were freely willing, 4 imploring uswith much urgency that we would receive thegift and the fellowship of the ministering to thesaints. 5 And not only as we had hoped, butthey first gave themselves to the Lord, and thento us by the will of God.
  • 11. LOVE one anotherChrist commandedJohn 13:34-35 34 A new commandment I give toyou, that you love one another; as I have lovedyou, that you also love one another. 35 By thisall will know that you are My disciples, if youhave love for one another."
  • 12. LOVE one anotherChrist commandedEnjoy each otherRomans 12:10 Be kindly affectionate to oneanother with brotherly love, in honor givingpreference to one another;Romans 12:15 Rejoice with those who rejoice,and weep with those who weep.
  • 13. LOVE one anotherChrist commandedEnjoy each otherShow kindness to each otherEphesians 4:2-3 2 with all lowliness andgentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with oneanother in love, 3 endeavoring to keep the unityof the Spirit in the bond of peace.
  • 14. Come PreparedWorship is more than – showing up.We must be prepared to worship.We must bring with us the desire to grow andbecome what God wants us to be.What did you bring with you today?
