  • 1. Increase your Account Security with Two FactorAuthenticationYou can increase the security of your website by adding two-factorauthentication to your ManageWP login process. In addition to enteringyour password, if you have enabled this option will be required to inputa verification code that will be sent to you via SMS or email (orboth). This prevents any would-be hackers from gaining access to yoursite through means of brute force attacks (or simply guessing yourpassword).Furthermore, if you receive an email or SMS with a verification code andyou didn’t try to log into your site, you know that someone else hasattempted to do so.To set up two step verification login to ManageWP and navigate toyour Username (top right corner) > Settings > Advanced.Scroll down to Two Factor Authentication.Choose whether you want to receive your verification via email or both.Save your options.Your account is now even more secure. Next time you log in toManageWP you will be asked to complete a second step.
