Here are some of the famous KPOP groups (show pictures). K-pop has grown into a popular subculture among teenagers and young adults around the world, resulting in widespread interest in the fashion and style of Korean idol groups and singers. Through the presence of Facebook fan pages, availability on iTunes, Twitter profiles, and music videos on YouTube, the ability of K-pop to reach a previously inaccessible audience via the Internet is driving a paradigm shift in the exposure and popularity of the genre. South Korean popular culture is today serving as a major driver of youth culture all across the Pacific Rim, with special reference to China, Hong Kong, Japan, Philippines, Taiwan and Vietnam.
  • PPOP is an abbreviation form for Philippine Pop Music A recent rise of groups during the late 2000s and the early 2010s inspired by the Korean wave, has likewise been stirring a dance-pop movement called P-Pop with male groups such as XLR8,1:43,Freshmyx,Sakto and A-FIVE; female groups such as PopGirls, Pointen and Eurasia ;and a combination of male and female group: RPM.
  •  o Due to Korean wave, countries especially the Philippines, copied or imitate the type of music that the Korean Pop Music share from the internet and television.o PPOP has no originality.o The PPOP’s boy and girl groups are like “corny” or “baduy” because they are trying so much to copy KPOP groups.o The OPM’s nature is going down.
