1. Hi, I'm Maja
● I've been working at Cornell University now for several years and just switched jobs again to my (almost) dream
job working as the Asst. Director of the Public Service Center. This is a (almost) dream job because I do many
things that I really enjoy, including working with students going out into the local community doing service in
many areas, including PreK-12 education, and I'll have many opportunities to utilize the work we've been
doing in the MALET program. I'm so excited. EYES is one of many programs.

2. ● Before this job I was at the Hotel School at Cornell University managing 5 Centers that mostly worked with
Industry programming. Although I found ways to make that job a bit more interesting(to me) and utilize my
current interests, it wasn't as natural a fit. I managed programs like conferences and was able to produce
videos and create websites and implement some innovative interactive tools which was fun.

3. ● Before that I worked more in Arts Administration and Program Management which I also loved. I've worked in
Science and Art Museums, and produced many events. I still occasionally work on projects for the local Earth
Science museum and Nature Center. What's really great is that I have come full circle and am working on some
student volunteer education programs working in many local organizations including the Earth Science Museum,
and Nature Center, so I get to combine interests.

4. ● I was tempted to put a portrait of my avatar here since I really like the anonymity of being a bunny, but this is me. I
live in Ithaca with my husband, three kids and two dogs. That's my brother in-law, not my husband. My husband
does not like being in photos.
