2. Café Latte
Ingredients:
2 cups milk
1 1/3 cups hot freshly brewed dark roast espresso coffee
Directions:
Heat milk in a saucepan set over medium-low heat.
Whisk briskly with a wire whisk to create foam. Brew
espresso and pour into 4 cups. Pour in milk, holding back
the foam with a spoon. Spoon foam over the top.
3. Vanilla Latte
Ingredients:
3 cups milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups freshly-brewed maxwell house rich dark roast coffee
Directions:
Heat milk in small saucepan on low heat until warm, stirring
briskly and constantly with wire whisk to create foam.
Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
Stir coffee into milk mixture.
Other flavour option: 1/4 teaspoons almond extract instead of
vanilla.
4. White Chocolate Latte
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups milk
1 tbs white sugar
½ cup brewed espresso
¼ white chocolate chips, chopped
1 tbs heavy cream
1/8 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Combine the milk and cream in a saucepan, and whisk over high heat until hot and frothy. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla
and sugar. Whisk together hot espresso and white chocolate chips in a mug until smooth. If you are making two, pour half into
another mug. Top with the frothy hot milk and stir to blend in the flavoring.
5. Chai Tea Latte
Ingredients:
1 chai tea bag
7 fluid ounces boiling water
1 fluid ounce goats milk
1 tbs white sugar
1 pinch ground cardamom
Directions:
Place the tea bag in a large mug and pour in the boiling water. Steep for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the goats milk and sugar. Garnish
with a pinch of cardamom.
