    • Marketing Questionnaire!
    • Even though my magazine targets girls, I chose to interview a few males too as it gave a balanced result, whereas there is a clear representation that the majority were females who filled out the questionnaire I handed out.
    • This graph shows the age range which I have targeted these questions at. This shows that the most popular age range is 13-15.
    • When thinking about producing a music magazine, it is important what type of magazine that the audience enjoy reading. I found that from the majority age range of 13-15 to want to buy a ‘Pop’ genre style magazine, with few likes from other genres. This fits in perfectly with the representation of teen pop genre magazine which I am producing.
    • Music magazines often include products which attract their target audience to make the audience want to buy the music magazine. My results show that interviews with celebrity’s is the most popular, and so in my magazine I have included an interview with a famous singer ‘Taylor Swift’ who is popular.
    • Price of magazines are important as the target audience need to be able to buy it. Most of my participants said their reasonable price of magazine would be £2.00-£2.99 which is fairly expensive as mainly middle classed people will be buying the magazines for their teenagers.
    • When making my magazine, I needed to find out if the readers of the magazine would want a large proportion of text or images. These results show that 6 of the 12 that I asked would like an equal amount, whereas the other 6 were split between having more text or more images. This shows that the audience has varied interests within this area however I decided to use an equal amount to please the target audience.
    • Magazines can be distributed weekly or monthly sometimes, or even yearly. However, it is important to know that the audience will be willing to physically buy the magazine to make sure I make a profit. These results show that half of the participants buy them weekly showing consistency.
    • If I’m going to distribute my magazine, I need to make sure the best way to get my audience to buy them has to be easy access to them. The results show that supermarkets are the most successful way of purchasing magazines therefore I will make sure they are distributed into supermarkets weekly.
