    8 days, 7 nights (includes travel time)
    Tentative dates: Spring Break 2012 (March 31-April 8)
  • Itinerary
    Day 1: Arrival in Panama City, Students meet host families
    Day 2: Walk-around tour of Panama City, Parque Natural Metropolitano
    Day 3: InterACTion Community Service Project
    Day 4: Tour the Panama Canal and famous historical sites
    Day 5: Excursions (kayaking, Canal train, Indigenous Island tour)
    Day 6: Caribbean Coast day
    Day 7: El Valle extinct volcano, Santa Clara Beach visit
  • Trip Cost
    Approximately $2000
    Trip Cost includes:
    Airfare
    Tour Guides
    Admissions
    Transportation
    Breakfast and Dinner with host family
    Lunch with group
    Trip Cost does not include:
    Personal spending money
  • Payments and Fundraising
    Payments:
    Non-refundable deposit: $350 due April 20th
    1st Payment: Monday, April 20, 2011
    2nd Payment: October 2011
    Final Payment: January 2012, minus any fundraising monies earned

    Profits for group events divided evenly amongst participants

    Two teacher recommendation forms (teachers will return to the Organizing teachers)
    $350 Personal Check written to Interact Travel, Inc.
    1-page typed paper describing why you are an ideal candidate for the trip (in English)
