A Few More Thoughts about Online Entrepreneurs of 2013…
I’m ashamed to admit this…
…but I think I sounded a bit like this old coot in my last blog post:
I said:
“There’s a tidal wave of money that’s headed for the Internet; those of you who are smart
entrepreneurs will figure out how to position yourselves to benefit from this.
It’s coming; all you’ve got to do is just get in the way!”
I apologize if I sounded a bit like Scrooge; I was in a hurry yesterday, and forgot to temper my statement
with some perspective...
--about online entrepreneurship, I mean.
One of life’s secrets
The most successful online entrepreneurs each have discovered one of life’s secrets: it’s all about lifting
other people up, not walking across their backs to achieve success.
Another way of putting it is, in the online business world, entrepreneurs can not only make a lot of good
money quickly, but we can also help a lot of people improve their lives along the way.
As Dave Sharpe has said many times, “It’s not about the destination; it’s about the journey.”
Of course, I’m speaking from the perspective of someone in direct sales and network marketing, but I
believe we should apply that principle in everything we do as entrepreneurs.
After all, we’re only on this earth for a relatively short span of time; why not reach out and help as many
people as we can, with whatever time we have in our business activities?
2. One last thought…
I’m writing this on Christmas Eve, 2012. Many people thought we wouldn’t reach this date, since they
believed the world would end three days ago.
Actually, the world did end on December 21 for a lot of people who died of old age, or disease, or
violence. We can’t do anything for them—they’re out of our reach now.
But, we can still effect change in the lives of the living, so let’s focus on that in 2013. Whether you’re
already an online entrepreneur, or thinking about getting started, concentrate your intentions like a
laser beam on being a helper to as many people as we can.
So, for those of you reading this on Christmas Eve, I wish you…
Merry Christmas!

By the way: have you ever heard of Dave Sharpe? He was imprisoned by drugs, alcohol, and a dead-end
life…
…until someone reached out and helped him.
Several years and many life-lessons later, he’s made millions of dollars as an online entrepreneur. Visit
