1. Heavy and Strong Truck Bodies
Truck bodies are used mostly when people tend to shift their houses and move to another place. They
need these truck bodies for the movement of their valuables and assets. These truck bodies are very
heavy and are quite firm, the companies even provide a guarantee on these vans that they will provide
your asset moving safe. These truck bodies are not only used when the house is moved but also used
when people move their offices or move their products like steel and other spare parts used in either
construction or the manufacturing.
Specification of Truck Bodies
These truck bodies are of many types. A few of them are Refrigerated Vans, Dry Freight Vans, Platform
stake Body, Parcel vans and Smooth wall vans. The Refrigerated vans truck bodies are basically used for
things that need cooling. Its body length is 10’-28’. It is basically a stainless steel constructed van with a
4’’ foam insulation and has other additional features, too like interior lighting, scuff extensions and
various flooring options. Another type of these refrigerated vans are 12’-20’ and are smaller than those
first ones and have refrigeration unit and lift gates installed.
Second type of van is the Dry Freight Van, these have 10’-28’ body length and have 4’’ I-beam long rails
installed. They have side walls made up of Fiberglass Reinforced plywood and they also have additional
options installed like Rear frame extension and rear end plate reinforcement, wheel boxes and etc.
There are other types of freight vans also available which are Insulated vans and Sheet & Post vans.
Insulated vans are highly insulated and readily available.
HPA Premium is other type of these vans which have a length of 9’-26’ and have 3’’ steel I beam
attached, these vans have exterior lights also attached which are rubber mounted, its body is mounted
and painted black enamel and has lights, reflectors and mud flaps. Many other additional options are
also accessible like Winch bar, hydraulic lift gates etc.
Parcel vans are the most common truck bodies which are readily available and are used for the
movement of assets and valuable at the time of shifting. These vans are of different lengths. Some are
12’, some are 14’, 15’ or 16’. They have a Ladder style design and have 3/8” fiberglass reinforced
plywood on the front wall.
