  • WE need to add a slide on titles of dry land activities possible and include one on insurance if dave okays the idea. then i think we're set to go. the last slide needs quick bios for each of us.For me, that could be:

Tori Gilbert, Ed.D. has taught science and Spanish at Saint David's School for the past 20 years. After receiving a grant from the Toyota Tapestry program and building a Whitehall gig with her students in 1997, Tori founded East River CREW with other eastsiders to bring recreational and educational activities to this neighborhood.

  • i would move this slide up to position # 2 in the series and perhaps extend the peach to show how that current originates below the bridge.also, if possible show an intermediary number for the current by Mill Rock south so that they can see slackening.

  • For FUN slide: Can you include some quotes from kids like ISaiah or others in a caption or two, that should do the trick!

  • RESPECT: a few comments in a couple of captions about Respect for each other, respect for water/weather conditions, and respect for alternate boat traffic in the channel. I would have one image to coordinate with each of those.

  • For safety slide- East River CREW's first priority is safety. That is why we choose to row in the cove at 96th street with a slackened current. Rose Blaustein used to run ecology boating programs for Asphalt Green at the old 90th St pier (Fireboat house) just south of our site.
