    1. 1. Blogs can:  provide opportunities for teachers to connect with others who have similar interests and challenges  be accessed anywhere, anytime and anyhow
    2. 2. Blogs can:  provide a space where information is shared  allow readers to comment on posts  promote reflection and dialogue  develop a sense of community
    3. 3. Blogging allows teachers to:  curate and present high quality online content  present content in a clear and searchable format  create an ongoing chronicle and record of events and learning  become content curators and a database builders
    4. 4. Blogs can:  provide an authentic audience for student writing  provide a place to celebrate culture and language  showcase individual and shared successes and achievements
    5. 5. Blogs can be used to  to create and publish original resources, images, video, infographics, games, surveys, digital stories and other rich media.  Experiment and play with a range of ways to create engaging content
    6. 6. Challenge yourself to:  read a blog  subscribe to a blog  comment on a blog post  reflect on your practice and write a guest post for a blog  create a blog  set up blogs for your students  play with an online tool and take a few risks.
