  • 1.  Intertitles were used in silent films during the 1920’s, to show character dialogue. Nowadays intertitles are used in trailers this is to give a general idea of the narrative of the trailer. They also give important information such as the distribution institution, directors name and actors staring in the film.
  • 2. A black background is conventionallyused in horror trailers, to portray thesame horror affect when displayingdetails of the film and so thetypeface can clearly be seen.
  • 3. Some ideas for intertitles to edit into the trailer.Showing the cast, when the movie will come outand general narrative of the film.
  • 4. This type face would go well with thetheme of out trailer, as the font looksas if it has been painted on to thepage, changing the colour couldgive it the blood and gore effect. This typeface would not go with the trailer as the genre is slasher, also some of the letters aren’t clear. This typeface, is similar to the first one, with the dripping of the letters, but this typeface doesnt created the same effect of the first one.
