Problems with podcasting <ul><li>Uni-directional transmission of information from producer to consumer </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Little opportunity for author & learner to interact </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Author loses control over the podcasted material </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Recipient can redistribute it without author’s consent, for example put it on You Tube </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>File can be altered & redistributed </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Students have a tendency to ‘file’ the file </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Difficult to ensure that the learner has the most recent version </li></ul></ul>
