  4. 4. +  Using the findings from your homework, what are the conventions of your magazine genre? Use the writing mat on the Film and Media Lab. Blog your responses using examples. Work in pairs to develop your responses.
  5. 5. +  Select three influential magazine covers. Annotate them using the following as a focus:  Framing, mise-en-scene, lighting, colour, body language.
  6. 6. + How to take a good picture
  7. 7. + How to light your pictures!
  8. 8. +  Plenary: Learners to explain the ‘rules’ of photography and share how they might use their own resources to create meet their requirements.
  9. 9. +  Homework/link to next lesson: Take photos in preparation for next lesson using the principals established in this lesson. These should be uploaded to your blog.
