    • Interview Questions Fernando Terry; Psychology
      • What major are you studying at the moment? Psychology.
      • Did anyone influence you to take this major? If not what convinced you? No, I’ve recently became interested in this major. My whole high school I wanted to get into medics. But my mind changed my Senior year.
      • Did you take an classes/electives in high school that are relevant to this major? Yes, the whole reason I changed my mind of studying medicine is because I took Psychology & I just got extremely interested in it. It was the closest class they had to receive a doctoral Degree in college so I took it. I decided to study that instead. I find it so fascinating.
      • What other major captures your interest other than psychology? Like I said I wanted to study medicine, so medicine captures a lot of my attention. Being a pediatrician was also in mind for me.
      • If you can change your major right now, would you? No I love the major I am studying now! Maybe later in life I’ll go back to school and I get a degree in another major just for the thrill of it
    • Interview Questions Fernando Terry; Psychology
      • 6. How did going to college impact your life? Oh my god, how did it impact my life? College is my life! Everything I’m studying now will benefit me for my whole life. I will have a a Doctoral Degree in Psychology, this can get me an amazing perfect job in the subject of Psychology.
      • 7. What are some careers that you know that require at least a Bachelors Degree in Psychology? Case Management, Career Counselor, Rehabilitation Specialist. There's others but those are the most known jobs requiring a degree in Psychology.
      • 8. Has your career field changed since you graduated? How? No it hasn't. Before I graduated high school I wanted something else, but by the time I was going to graduate, I knew I wanted to study Psychology more, as a career, and I still want to have a career in psychology.
      • 9. What is the best advice you would offer me regarding my after high school decisions? Do whatever makes you happy!!! Remember going to college expands your choice in professional careers so I suggest you try your HARDEST to go to college.
    • PART 10 College Scenario
      • Scenario 1
      • Our personalities have nothing to do with the colleges we go to, so we shouldn’t blame the college for this guys personality. It is his choice to speak like he is uneducated. On top of that, he doesn’t even have a job and he is an adult. This is all completely his fault. The college someone went to is completely irrelevant to someone's personality and the way they act.
    • PART 10 College Scenarios
      • Scenario 3
      • In this scenario, its not the girls fault AT ALL. Her parents should have taught her more about sex. I believe it’s her parents fault. She had no knowledge whatsoever on protected sex. I believe she should tell her parents the truth that she’s pregnant but shouldn’t listen to their opinions. You can clearly tell from the way this paragraph describes them (ignorant, selfish,& protective) they're going to freak out and blame it on her and tell her to get an abortion. This time it should be her and her boyfriends decision.
    • Short Expository Essay; Why is it important to not drop out of high school?
      • High School is a large part of most peoples lives. It is a preparation for college. High School related more to college than any other grade level school. Not only is it important to learn basic stuff in High School that will help you in college, but going to High School and passing will get a High School diploma.
      • More than 60% of today's jobs require education BEYOND high school. More than 80% of new jobs require advanced education. So you can probably guess how important to receive a high school diploma alone. If you drop out of High School, you most likely will not receive your High School diploma and a High School diploma is extremely necessary in the society we live in now.
      • Most likely EVERY job you apply for will require a High School diploma. Dropping out will get you either nowhere, or a hard struggle to get you somewhere in life. Not dropping out will probably be one of the best decisions you ever made.
