JENNIFER JONES Throughout my collegiate career, I have been highly active in Wilkes University campusactivities and obtained various positions. For example, I was an ambassador of the GlobalCenter for Diversity and Education my freshman year. During sophomore and junior year, Iserved on boards for the Multicultural Student Coalition and Wilkes University ProgrammingBoard as the Publicity Chairperson. Currently, I hold the position of Treasurer for theuniversity’s Marketing Club. My contributions to the Sidhu School have included volunteering atthe Westmoreland Club for various events such as Vicente Fox, Eli Wiesel, and Blake Mycoskispeaking engagements. Moreover, I have attended the majority of the Kirby Lectures and wasan ambassador of TOMs shoes. My contribution to Wilkes University and the communityincludes supporting other clubs and events by publicizing and attending events, as well asdonating to whatever cause is being supported. I have been involved in other variouscommunity service activities such as the McGlynn Center, SPCA, Relay for Life, and PhiladelphiaCares and Thurgood Marshall Elementary School. I have shown strong performance across all aspects of the school’s curricular and co-curricular activities by balancing 19 credits with and being heavily involved in two or moredemanding clubs at a time. In addition to this, I have held a work study position on campusduring these demanding times. I possess a high level of self-awareness by having the ability tobe conscious of events and understanding and converting anything negative into a positivelesson learned. With the guidance of Wilkes University PPD programs to mold my interpersonaland motivation skills, I have been able to influence others in a positive manner. My awarenessof others and effective management of relationships and teamwork have excelled throughoutmy undergraduate career at Wilkes University.
