The Reformed
Baby Boomer’s
Ten Commandments
Lynn Huffman
1. I will keep up with
technology because it’s much easier
than trying to catch up later.
2. I will embrace change.
3. I will reject fear of the
new and different.
4. I will not believe
everything I read or hear
especially from the media and most politicians.
5. I will reject extremism
from both sides: left-wing and right-wing.
6. I will not leave voicemail
messages for my
children unless I absolutely have to.
7. I will maintain regular
exercise and healthy
eating to stay as vibrant and active
in my later years as possible.
8. I will simplify my life and
not keep or acquire stuff
that my children will have to go through
when I’m dead.
9. I will organize all of our
digital pictures and videos
and leave a LEGACY of memories for my
children.
10. I will remember that my
reaction to life’s events both
big and small is a reflection of my
inner well-being.
