    Jane receives her First Place Award from Wanda Bowman, Ashley Furniture 30” x 30” These are block patterns used by an appliqué group to learn and practice appliqué. Patterns were chosen by the leader of the group.

    This pieced and appliquéd quilt represents the mystery of spring in the Organ Mountains (the dark triangles) with pine trees (tall triangles) and cactus spines and blossoms. 50” x 50 ”
  • 6. Noretha Tucker Quilted by Gail Smith Machine Quilting of Merit Latté at Tiffany’s 98” x 72” Inspired by Aquamarine Ambience by Simon Haskins. Latté at Tiffany’s is a reversible satin quilt with different blocks, each having a different style of free motion quilting done by my daughter Gale Smith.

    • Cyndy Clark, Blue Star Mom’s of Las Cruces Chair, arranged for the Color Guard from Holloman Air Force Base and the presentation of patriotic quilts to Veterans.

  • 10. The winning raffle quilt ticket was drawn just before the close of the show on Sunday afternoon. Linnea Egbert held that ticket and is shown with her new quilt and one of the two pillows that were made with leftover blocks.
