  15. 15. Famous soap operas in Britain Eastender is a soap opera about life in an area of London. It is very popular for teenagers. Coronation Street is another soap opera and it started in 1960 and it is on TV four times a week!

If you don’t pay, you can be fined with 1.000 pounds . (1200 euros) </li></ul><ul><li>Adverts did not exist in BBC. That’s why the license was paid, but they do now. </li></ul>
