HAVE/GET SOMETHING DONE
I had my hair cut yesterday
The person who arranges for services Have/get in the correct tense Object which receives the action Action (past participle) Manner/Place/Time adverbs

Get or have +object + past participle Examples: Sue gets her dress ironed once a week. I’ll have my house painted next week.

Use the Get or Have Passive :
To emphasize action rather than state (only with action verbs not with stative verbs)
With living things
For services that you arrange for someone to do for you.
In conversation and not in formal speaking, and rarely in writing.

I had the oil of my car changed (by the mechanic) 6. The hairdresser cut my hair in a completely different style. I had my hair cut in a completely different style (by the hairdresser) 7. A decorator has repainted our house. We have had our house repainted (by a decorator) 8. A friend of mine, who´s an electrician, is going to repair my DVD player next week. I am going to have my DVD player repaired next week by a friend of mine, who’s an electrician 9. They have mended my watch. I have had my watch mended.
